I love people. Most people say I have a "mother's heart". I love to talk about Jesus and what He is teaching me. I love to learn from young adults. They have so much to offer the world. I work much - at a Christian book store and for a Live Blood Analysist.

Mega Madness

Am I the only one who feels life is going by mega fast! There is so much to do and just not enough time. I notice when I do talk to people they are in a rush and really don't look at you or even care what you are saying. Watch...see if it happens to you. People are flying at ground level. It's madness!

Tis true unfortunatly! I believe it has more to do with selfishness though! Think about it... people refuse to take the time because of something they have to do... its usually for themselves. I am a culpurate of this i do know! My life gets so busy that sometimes i forget what really matters in life! Perhaps me taking an hour to sit with a friend could mean life and death for that person, it could make the difference of sinning and not sinning, of them having a good day or not! But more importantly people are so 'busy' wraped up in their own lives that they push God out of the picture! I have learned the importance of spending QUALITY time with the Lord. just stopping. just waiting. being still. resting in Him. It make ALL the difference in the world! I wish more people would grasp this! Until then, all we can do is pray and show lots of love, even when we don't recieve love in return! Be blessed this day!

I love your quote from Mother Teresa, Dawn. I remember when my husband was going through that terrible health time of his life that our doctor quoted that to me. You are right that sometimes it is selfishness but other times it is just endless deadlines and others demanding you meet ten deadlines at once and you honestly don't have time for one more thing. It is like you have a plane to catch in one hour but you haven't packed yet and someone stops to talk but you really can't even take time to find out if it the weather or they have just been diagnosed with cancer. That is the madness of life! I've been focusing on Psalm 46. It's assuring to know in the madness God is still God.
